Alessandro Pavonis says “A spot like this is the soul of the neighbourhood—just like in Italy.’’

Intimate restaurant dining area with softly lit tables covered in white tablecloths, set with plates, glasses, and gold-colored vases, decorated with patterned wallpaper, framed artwork, and a window showing a nighttime street view.

Hidden in plain sight, our venue celebrates the spirit of rebellion, refinement, and ritual — just as it was in the 1920s. During America’s Prohibition, gin became the drink of choice in underground bars, where secrecy met sophistication. But for Italians of the era, gin was more than just a hidden indulgence — it was a canvas for craftsmanship, infused with botanicals and traditions that echoed the aperitivo culture of home.
